Kevin O'Reilly

Kevin J. O’Reilly joined the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office in July of 2019 as Employee Relations Director, where he oversees the human resource functions of the Sheriff’s Office and implements Sheriff’s Office policy related to personnel issues. Kevin also assists in representing the Sheriff at contract negotiations, grievance and arbitration hearings, and labor management meetings.

Prior to joining the Sheriff’s Office, Kevin spent 22 years at CA Technologies (formerly Computer Associates) in a variety of human resource, corporate security, and compliance roles. Kevin holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from SUNY Stony Brook and holds Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and History from Villanova University.
